A modern social night around a classic game.

Why We Started

Mahjong nights are popping up across the country, and we wanted to add something new to Atlanta's mahjong scene.

We wanted a night out where the whole point is meeting people, and a mahjong table does that better than anything: it gets four strangers talking within minutes. Our nights are inspired by Hong Kong café culture and open to everyone, whether mahjong is part of your family history or completely new to you.

Fourth Seat Social is that space. Every seat at a mahjong table needs a fourth player, and that could be you.

The Vibe

NYC Lower East Side meets Hong Kong café nightlife. Good music, good drinks, good-looking tables.

How a Night Works

RSVP: space is limited, so we ask everyone to RSVP. Event details drop on Instagram.
Check in: say hi at the door and grab a drink (non-alcoholic options too).
Pick a seat: open play means you choose your table and your people.
Learn & play: a teacher at each table keeps the game moving and the energy up.
Heads up: we photograph and film our nights for Instagram. If you'd rather stay out of shots, just tell our content team at check-in.
